A Mother's Love

Dedicated to Annie Mae

A mother's love does not come with conditions or a price,
It is a sacrifice repeated over and over again in life.
She gives pieces of herself so her children can grow,
Planting seeds of strength that only time can show.

She loses sleep so we can find rest,
She gives her all while giving her best.
The world may never see the battles she has fought,
The silent prayers and the lessons she has taught.

She remembers our first steps before we remember our name,
She carries our victories and she carries our pain.
When we fall, she does not walk away,
She reaches for us and helps us find another day.

When the world turns cold and closes every door,
She becomes the shelter we were searching for.
Her love is the light that continues to shine,
Even when our path becomes difficult to find.

There is something sacred about a mother's heart,
A love so powerful it was written from the start.
I do not believe God made a mistake when He created her role,
Because a mother's love reaches places nothing else can console.

A mother is a shero who rarely wears a crown,
A strength that lifts others when she feels herself falling down.
She carries a love that history may never record,
But heaven knows every sacrifice she poured.

To every mother who has given more than words can explain,
Who has carried love through joy and pain,
Know that your purpose has never gone unseen,
Your devotion has created a legacy beyond what can be dreamed.

So thank you, mom, for the love you provide,
For standing through the storms and walking beside.
You are the quiet sheroes who give without needing applause,
The greatest example of unconditional love.

A mother's love is a gift that time cannot erase,
A blessing carried with honor, compassion, and grace.
And no matter how far a child may roam,
A mother's love will always feel like home.
